Light & Life: First Presbyterian Church of Colorado Springs at 150 years

To commemorate 150 years of glorifying God and serving Colorado Springs since the city’s inception, First Pres tasked author Susan A. Fletcher to write a history book for the church. And I designed it! We wanted to show how the church had grown up alongside the city of Colorado Springs and provide a meaningful memento to congregation members, some of whom are five generations deep in this particular church.

With 250 pages, over 300 historical photos, and an expedited project timeline, this book provided an excellent challenge for me. I’m proud to say Light & Life: First Presbyterian Church of Colorado Springs at 150 Years won the award for best historical nonfiction in the 2022 Colorado Authors League Book Awards.
